2008
November 16, 2008, the council met for the third time and conferred the Order on 15 candidates raising $601 for
Project Life Saver.
Officers were elected. A special thank you to Most Excellent Edward S. Newsham for acting as the Marshal and
Most Excellent Ted Harrison for assisting at this conferral.
2007
November 16, 2007, the council met for the second time and conferred the Order on 30 candidates raising $530 for
Project Life Saver. Officers were elected. A special thank you to Most Excellent Edward S. Newsham for acting as the
Chief Custodian of the Sword at this conferral.
2006
On November 17, 2006, Edmund D. 'Ted' Harrison, General Grand Scribe, and Edward S. Newsham,
Grand High Priest of the Grand Chapter State of New York Royal Arch Masons, presented a charter to the Virginia Council.
The Constitutional Meeting of the Illustrious Council of the Order of Old Saratoga in Virginia
was held after dinner and initiated approximately 90 raising
$1,794.00 for Project Life Saver.
The Grand Chapter sweetened this to $2,000.00
and presented a check to Gene Saunders after he gave a very informative talk to the Committee of the Whole.

thank you to Most Excellent Edmund D. 'Ted' Harrison and
Most Excellent Edward S. Newsham for helping us get this started.
